# Job Opportunity – CVICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: April 27, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2 weekends per month; holiday rotation includes 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) and 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); floating to other ICUs as needed

Highlights:

• 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with high-volume advanced cardiac surgery program supported by 5 full-time surgeons
• Specialize in post-operative cardiac surgery care including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs
• Patient ratios of 1:2 standard, 1:1 for device-specific patients with free-floating charge nurse support
• Intensivist assigned to unit 24/7; perform advanced procedures including central line insertion, Swan-Ganz insertion, and intubations on unit
• Advanced cardiac devices including PA catheters, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner and Daisy Award Recipient facility
• Meditech documentation system with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors and Alaris IV pumps
• Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech available Monday-Friday; Student Nurse Externs provide additional support on variable shifts

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Strong critical care experience with CVICU background required
• Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Adherence to dress code: black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with approved scrub jackets/vests only
