Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse First Assistant – Wisconsin

Schedule: Operating room schedule supporting surgical procedures

Highlights:

• Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other technical tasks during surgical procedures
• Work directly with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment including pneumatic tourniquets, electrocautery, and endoscopy systems
• Prepare and organize sterile supplies, instruments, equipment, and drapes for surgical cases
• Support wound closure, drainage system placement, and appropriate wound dressing application
• Collaborative perioperative environment with experienced surgical staff

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program or other recognized first-assisting education program
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire
• 1+ years of related operating room/surgical experience preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
