Description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital Oncology department requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (T) certification.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
- Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with possibility of 4/10s
- Uses ARIA for electronic medical records
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Requirements
- ARRT (T) certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapist experience required
- 1 year of travel experience OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA required
- TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy experience preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsible for delivering quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
- Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments, performing quality control and assurance tests
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety practices
- Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
- Scrubs of any color permitted
- Maximum of 5 days RTO can be requested
- Local candidates within 35 miles of the facility may be considered local travelers with adjusted pay
