Division 10 Estimator

Division 10 Estimator Location: Oldsmar, FL (Tampa Area) Position Overview An established commercial construction contractor is seeking a Division 10 Estimator to help grow its expanding specialties division in the Florida market. This is an opportunity to join a financially stable organization while playing a key role in building a growing business unit. The ideal candidate will have Division 10 estimating experience, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and be interested in growing into additional responsibilities as the department expands. Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates for commercial Division 10 projects. Review construction drawings and specifications. Perform quantity takeoffs and develop complete bid packages. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process. Assist with project turnover after award. As workload grows, transition into project management responsibilities for awarded projects. Help establish estimating processes and best practices for the growing Division 10 department. Qualifications Experience estimating Division 10 specialties for commercial construction projects. Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt. Comfortable working from an office environment. Preferred Experience Commercial construction estimating experience. Experience using Excel for estimating. Experience with Comsense is a plus but not required. Previous project management experience is beneficial but not required. Existing relationships within the Florida commercial construction market are a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (approximately $75,000-$85,000 depending on experience).
