Maintenance Director – Full TimeTice Valley Post AcutePay Starting @ $30/hour + BenefitsTice Valley Post Acute is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to join our team full time. The Maintenance Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Maintenance Department to ensure our facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, implement, and oversee all maintenance department operationsDevelop and maintain maintenance policies, procedures, and schedulesCoordinate maintenance services with other departments including Nursing, Dietary, and ActivitiesSupervise maintenance personnel and ensure staff performance and safety complianceConduct routine inspections of equipment, storage areas, utility rooms, and facility groundsEnsure compliance with safety, fire prevention, infection control, and hazardous materials regulationsMaintain and monitor MSDS documentation and hazardous chemical labeling/storageOversee outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed properlyParticipate in facility inspections and develop corrective action plans as neededMonitor maintenance supplies and department budget to ensure efficiency and cost controlEnsure all equipment is functioning properly and promptly report facility damageMaintain confidentiality of resident information and protected health informationRespond to emergency maintenance situations as neededQualificationsPrevious maintenance supervisory or director experience preferredKnowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and preventative maintenanceExperience in healthcare or skilled nursing facilities preferredAbility to lead staff and coordinate multiple projectsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to respond to emergencies and work independentlyBenefitsCompetitive payHealth benefitsPaid time offSupportive team environmentFull-time stable positionIf you are a motivated professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe and efficient environment, we encourage you to apply and join the Tice Valley Post Acute team.We are an equal opportunity employer.
