OTR | Occupational Therapist

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Occupational Therapist responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering occupational therapy treatments prescribed by referring providers. Your role will focus on restoring function and preventing disability following injury, disease, or physical impairment. You will assist patients in improving motor skills, reasoning abilities, and adapting to permanent functional losses to lead independent, productive, and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of physical medicine, occupational therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Operate and maintain physical and occupational therapy equipment.
  • Coordinate and supervise supportive staff including Occupational Therapist Assistants and Rehab Aides.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Evaluate patient pain levels and collaborate with physicians for necessary interventions.
  • Develop and implement teaching plans tailored to patient and family learning needs.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and recommend adjustments to physicians as needed.
  • Advise on modifications to patients' work or living environments to support their capabilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Certificate, bachelor's degree, or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Washington.
  • Clinical internships in both outpatient and inpatient settings during occupational therapy education.
  • Preferred: Certification from the National Board for Certifying Occupational Therapy and at least one year of experience in all aspects of occupational therapy.

  • Demonstrate punctuality and complete work within designated timelines.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, guests, and staff.
  • Adhere to organizational mission, ethics, and goals.
