\n

Project Summary

\n

Join a multidisciplinary team supporting the design and delivery of advanced nuclear and national security infrastructure projects. Engineers will contribute to the development of power systems supporting next-generation reactor technologies as well as DOE nuclear facilities operating under rigorous NQA-1 quality programs.

\n

Responsibilities may include electrical system design, equipment specification development, power system modeling, short circuit and coordination studies, grounding design, cable and raceway engineering, procurement support, and construction turnover activities. Engineers will work across all phases of execution, from conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction support, commissioning, and startup.

\n

This position offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges within highly regulated nuclear environments while supporting mission-critical facilities that will operate for decades.

\n

\n

What Makes This Opportunity Different

\n

\n
• Advanced reactor and emerging nuclear technology exposure
\n
• Application of NRC-regulated and NQA-1 engineering practices
\n
• Design of safety-related and mission-critical systems
\n
• Long-term programs with significant engineering backlog
\n
• Direct collaboration with engineering, construction, operations, and licensing teams
\n
• Opportunity to influence major design decisions rather than simply execute production work
\n

\n

• Support engineering change evaluations and manage design modifications throughout project lifecycles.
\n

\n

\n

Procurement & Vendor Management

\n

\n
• Develop and review technical equipment specifications, bid packages, and procurement documentation.
\n
• Evaluate supplier proposals and provide technical recommendations for equipment selection.
\n
• Coordinate vendor interfaces, review vendor drawings and submittals, and manage technical inquiries throughout the procurement process.
\n

\n

\n

Project Execution & Client Engagement

\n

\n
• Coordinate electrical engineering activities with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, structural, civil, I&C, and construction personnel.
