Podiatrist (DPM) Location: San Antonio, TX

Position Overview Vivo Healthstaff is seeking a qualified Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to deliver specialized podiatry care at a state healthcare facility in San Antonio, TX. This role provides routine and specialized foot and ankle care within a state-operated facility setting.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct twice-weekly on-site podiatry clinics to evaluate, diagnose, and treat lower extremity conditions.
  
  
• Provide clinical evaluations, physical examinations, treatment follow-ups, and specialist consultations as approved by the Facility Medical Director.
  
  
• Treat a broad range of foot and ankle disorders, including:
  
  
  • Bunions, calluses, and heel pain
    
    
  • Fungal nails and ingrown toenails
    
    
  • Gout and lower extremity fractures
    
    
  • Acute and chronic podiatric conditions
    
• Maintain precise clinical documentation in compliance with facility and state record-keeping protocols.
  

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program.
  
  
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered license to practice podiatric medicine in the State of Texas.
  
  
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical podiatry experience.
  
  
• Compliance: Must comply with state regulatory standards, including Texas Government Code (b)(b-1)(2).
  
  
• Documentation: Submission of active certifications, state credentials, and background verification.
  

Compensation & Schedule Structure

• Clinic Volume: 2 fixed clinic visits per week ( 104 clinic sessions per year).
  
  
• Compensation Model: Structured base rate per clinic visit (covering up to 10 patients), with an additional flat rate paid for each patient evaluated beyond the initial 10.
  
  
• Contract Terms: Long-term engagement with options for annual renewal to support continuity of patient care.
