Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts with start times between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM and end times between 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM
• Call responsibilities included in addition to regular shifts
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotated through trained RNs
• Must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases
• Work across 4 suites with 3 running concurrently
• Average of 9 cases per day
• Common cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
• Must have experience with all listed specialties as well as Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU
• RNs also cover Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU in addition to OR duties
• Scrubbing not required for RNs
• EMR system: Paragon
• Schedule built by manager
• One week of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Must clock in and out at facility
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a well-equipped surgical department with 4 operating suites running up to 3 concurrently, supporting a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology. The facility provides a comprehensive perioperative environment where nursing staff contribute across the full surgical continuum, including Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes a computerized charting system to support clinical workflows.
