Registered Nurse – PCU / Surgical Stepdown (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Surgical Stepdown unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivery, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience
• Ability to wear Navy Blue scrubs per facility dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a surgical stepdown or progressive care setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
