Lease Analyst

Role Overview The Senior Land Administrator will be assigned to one or more projects. The administrator must have an understanding of oil & gas leasing and solar operations, timelines, and project requirements, and work independently with limited supervision. This position supports upcoming projects and anticipated growth; while an immediate opening may not be available, we’re actively building a talent pipeline and encourage qualified candidates to apply. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Report to the Supervisor of Land Administration or the LAD Managing Director if no supervisor assigned. Manage influx of multiple daily requests with close attention to time‑sensitive information and task deadlines, scheduling overlapping activities to meet deadlines. Review and analyze title information and documents, runsheet/chain of title, and title opinions; enter and maintain ownership information and documents in multiple database systems. Review and understand complex lease documents, amendments, assignments, and other leasing documents; enter and maintain lease records and documents in various database systems. QA/QC lease documents as requested, ensuring provisions are approved for use by the client or Project Manager and within project scope. Scan received documents, upload into document management system, and enter lease data into appropriate database systems with attention to how documents affect leasehold within the project. Process lease packages and necessary reports for funding requests and/or transfer of final documents, confirming all requests follow project instructions. Maintain title records, lease records, documents, forms, and multiple databases through data entry, manual filing, and other applications; keep all files organized and updated. Assist Project Manager with special projects as requested. Produce various special reports for the Project Manager. Coordinate mapping of all tracts with GIS and update status of tracts, units, and projects. Submit documents for recording to county recorder or clerk offices as dictated by project instructions or Project Manager. Securely maintain all original documents and project data. Assist other departments with special projects as requested. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Ability to work independently and QA/QC others’ work with accuracy. Ability to plan, organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure without supervision. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. Database experience with Percheron’s NSite database and ability to learn client databases. Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. Willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities and collaborate as a team player. Ability to maintain regular attendance as per agreed work schedule, with potential adjusted schedule and overtime. Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures. Work Environmental and Physical Demands Spends 100% of the time in an office environment. Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
