Job Summary Full‑time night shift: Tuesday–Friday, 11 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; Saturday, 9 p.m.–7 a.m. The Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to and from Imaging Services modalities while ensuring HIPAA guidelines, maintaining patient comfort, and utilizing safe transfer techniques. Responsibilities Safely transport patients throughout the facility utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintain transport and patient‑holding equipment. Assist technologists and departments. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 0–2 years Certifications: BLS/CPR (American Heart Association) Organization Description St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420‑bed acute‑care hospital in West Palm Beach. SMMC is a Level1 Trauma Center, a state‑designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has a LevelIII NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, the only dedicated children’s hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando.
