Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

This is a contract role lasting between 9 months to 1 year. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and improving production efficiencies across assembly operations. The aim is to deliver business value by meeting Safety, Quality, and operational performance expectations. The role involves applying a demonstrated working knowledge of Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and Lean tool set principles, with a particular focus on enhancing internal and external customer-supplier relationships.

• Apply Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and Lean tool set principles effectively.
• Focus on improving internal and external customer-supplier relationships.
• Deliver business value by achieving Safety, Quality, and operational performance expectations.

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge of capital expenditure and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing and industrial engineering.
• Ability to perform materials management and optimization.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Time Study, Workflow Analysis, Layout Design, and Process Improvement.

• A degree in engineering is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Experience working in a machine shop is beneficial.

Candidates will work in an office environment with frequent interaction with the manufacturing facility itself. This involves engaging with the shop floor as part of the role.

This is a Contract position based out of BROOKFIELD, WI.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
