Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full TimeArbor Village | Solstice at Pointe DefianceFlexible Scheduling | 85-90% Productivity | Therapist OwnedIndependence RehabIndependence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Arbor Village in Kent, and Solstice at Pointe Defiance in Tacoma, both very well-regarded assisted living facilities. Deliver outcomes.About the RoleAs a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll split time between Pointe Defiance and Arbor Village on an outpatient basis, working collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.SNF Practice HighlightsTreat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patientsPerform and assist with all types of transfersProvide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practiceCollaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care teamCompetency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areasWhat We OfferFlexible daily scheduling - we'll work with you to support work-life balance while meeting patient needsContinuing education benefit of up to $750 per year for approved coursesMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-matching 401(k) retirement planUp to three weeks of paid time off annuallySupportive, collaborative therapy cultureRequirementsCurrent Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standingAssociate degree from an accredited OTA programOrganized, self-motivated, and patient-focusedPassion for working with the geriatric populationOne year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
