Registered Nurse - Surgical Unit

Location: Cypress, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our surgical unit team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in orthopedic and surgical nursing, providing exemplary patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate patient care in the surgical unit.
Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, neuro, vascular, general, bariatrics, robotics, and urology.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Meditech EMR system.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must have a current RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience in orthopedic surgeries is mandatory.
Preferred experience with robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci experience is a plus).
