Surgery Technician

VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing Surgery care team full time! CVTs & experienced Veterinary Assistants welcome to apply. (Brief video on life as a technician with VCA from a technician’s point of view) Surgery Veterinary Technician Duties: Anesthesia monitoring, procedural and surgical Full Technician Skill Utilization Computed Tomography Scans (CT) Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams Venipuncture / IVC placement Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority) Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services Providing compassionate care for all patients Potential Schedule: Full-time (3) 12 hr shifts, or (4) 10s Compensation: $23 - $33 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status.
