Overview
Registered Nurse, PCU – Travel Assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,721-$1,784 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. Hospital setting. This travel assignment supports float coverage for PCU/IMCU units with a cardiac patient population, using EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities
- Float to all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac patients, collaborating with the care team to provide continuous and safe patient care.
- Care for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain scenarios, with the ability to initiate or adjust cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per orders.
- Maintain patient monitoring and telemetry with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio on the cardiac unit.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, monitor patient response, and report changes promptly.
- Document accurately in EPIC EMR and ensure compliance with unit policies and patient safety standards.
- May be assigned to telemetry beds on the same unit with lower-acuity patients; provide high-quality nursing care across acute care settings as needed.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; strong critical thinking and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a facility of similar size or complexity.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- EPIC EMR experience or proficiency preferred.
- Ability to float between PCU and IMCU cardiac populations with a willingness to work in a hospital setting.
- Minimal time off (RTO) expected during the assignment.
