Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of previous experience required; Cardiac and open heart experience preferred; At least 1 travel contract completed preferred License: State license in Illinois required; Iowa license on offer required; Not an employee within the last 12 months required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines experience required; Experience with amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban with some titration required; Driver's license required; Work history/resume required; Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of submission date required; License verification required; One supervisory reference required at time of submission required; Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Description: The traveler will be a member of the interdisciplinary team. The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position requires the completion of specific skill competencies to ensure quality patient care. The traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Participation in on-call rotation may be required based on unit needs. Every other weekend work is expected. This position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment for experienced registered nurses.
