By joining Jacobs, you’ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other.What You’ll Do:Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.Manage all cost control elements, including:Budget development and updatesScope change trackingExpenditure and forecast reportingMaintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools.Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions to project and construction managers.Review and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.Track and report on construction physical progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems. Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on cost management and field operations.Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with project controls teams, construction teams, and vendors.Willingness and ability to travel for on-site assignments.Ideally, You’ll Also Have:Proficiency in project controls and scheduling software, including:OraclePrimavera P6Microsoft ProjectEcoSysUnifierSynchroIndustry-recognized certifications such as:Certified Cost Professional (CCP)Construction Manager (CCM)Project Management Professional (PMP)Risk Management Professional (RMP)Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
