Job Description

The Inventory & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and managing all incoming materials while maintaining accurate records within the INNERGY ERP system. This includes scanning and uploading packing slips, ensuring digital traceability of all incoming goods, and safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and organize materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments, materials, and supplies.
• Match packing slips to purchase orders and verify product accuracy and condition.
• Scan and upload packing slips and related documents into the Innergy system to ensure proper digital record-keeping.
• Enter receiving data into Innergy, including quantities, supplier details, and lot information.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages to Purchasing or Management.
• Label all received materials with appropriate identification or barcode labels.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels within Innergy ERP system.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits.
• Process inventory adjustments and reconcile any variances through the system.
• Support internal transfers between departments using Innergy transaction tools.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock or overstock items.

Work Order Fulfillments:

• Fill materials orders and deliver to appropriate departments
• Keep steady flow of materials to manufacturing facility

Data & System Management:

• Use Innergy ERP modules (Inventory, Purchasing, and Receiving) to enter, update, and manage warehouse data.
• Attach scanned packing slips and supporting documents to corresponding purchase orders or receipts.
• Generate reports and assist with data audits to ensure system accuracy.
• Support the improvement of warehouse workflows and ERP efficiency.

Other Duties:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping departments.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures for material handling.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with Innergy ERP or other inventory management systems.
• Certified forklift operator (or ability to obtain certification).
• Knowledge of document scanning, digital filing, and ERP document attachment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with ERP data entry.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to [50 lbs].
