Duties Include: Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants; Performnecessary nursing duties; Perform administrative duties such as chartingand completing medical forms and reports; Receive physicians’ orders; Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed; Prepare andadminister medications as necessary; Notify charge nurse of all drug andnarcoticdiscrepancies; Ensuretheaccuracyofnarcoticsrecordsforshift; Inform charge nurse of staffing needs; Responsible for comprehensivenursingcare.
