Job Description:
MultiCare Yakima is seeking a full-time (Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm) clinic-based Audiologist to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic hearing tests, including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry for patients of all ages, from birth to seniors. Responsibilities include interpreting test results for patients and physicians, making recommendations for medical follow-up, hearing aids, and ear protection. The Audiologist will conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification, fit the hearing aids, and provide detailed instructions on operation and maintenance. Additionally, the role involves providing routine maintenance and troubleshooting for hearing aids purchased through the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington state license (preferred)
• Successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree program with clinic practicum experience
• For master's degrees, a Certificate of Clinic Competency in Audiology (AuD) from a board-approved institution is considered to meet the professional work experience requirement
• Current BLS Certification

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
