How you'll make an impact in this role

• Set up sterile drapes, solutions, instruments, and non-sterile supplies to ensure a safe, efficient surgical environment.
• Hand required instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures and assist with patient transport, positioning, and draping.
• Maintain organized surgical instruments and continuously track counts throughout the procedure to maintain surgical safety.
• Support the overall safety and efficiency of surgical operations from patient setup through procedure completion.

What minimum requirements you'll need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following: Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Experienced Neurosurgical tech. Complex craniotomies, complex spine deformity cases, Minimally invasive Neurosurgeries, pediatric neuro, and DBS
