1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shift Mig Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Mig welding according to engineering drawings and blueprint specifications.
• Interpret welding symbols, callouts, and weld requirements.
• Determine proper weld positions and techniques to complete jobs accurately and efficiently.
• Weld mild steel and stainless steel materials ranging from 7-gauge to 1/4-inch thickness.
• Read and interpret detailed fabrication and welding blueprints.
• Assist with cutting, staging, organizing, and preparing materials for production.
• Support fabrication activities including grinding, machine operation, insulation cutting, and finishing work.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist in other fabrication departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Mig welding experience.
• Strong blueprint reading abilities.
• Working knowledge of shop math.
• Experience in fabrication environments.
• Ability to perform quality welds on mild steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Eagan, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
