Mr. Electric is Hiring a Residential Electrician!

Location : Peru, NY

Pay Rate : $60.000 - $90.000 - based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to join our team at Mr. Electric of Queensbury, serving West Glens Falls and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will diagnose, install, and repair residential electrical systems while providing outstanding service to our local community. What Success Looks Like

On a daily basis, you will drive a company vehicle to residential properties, evaluate customers' electrical needs, and complete installations or repairs safely and efficiently. You will speak directly with homeowners, explaining solutions clearly and providing honest, transparent pricing before starting any work. You will manage your time independently while having the backing of a supportive office team whenever you need it.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience working as a residential electrician or journeyman.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for residential electrical systems.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to homeowners in plain, easy-to-understand language.
• A commitment to safety protocols and adherence to local and national electrical codes.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• An active Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent local certification.
• Experience using digital tablets or mobile applications for dispatching and customer invoicing.
