PT EVENING TURNDOWN AND HOUSEKEEPING at the RUSTY PARROT LODGE

The Turndown role rests at the heart of Rusty Parrot Lodge and in the pulse of the action. Meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled dedication to guest satisfaction are the hallmarks of this position. As a member of this team, you will carry out various tasks including attending to guest rooms, maintaining public areas, managing laundry services, providing turn-down services, and assisting in the spa.

From meticulously cleaning guest rooms to tending to the public areas, restaurant, and spa, your commitment to excellence shines through in every task you undertake. Core Responsibilities  

• Provide personalized assistance to guests, ensuring their needs are promptly met and exceeded 
• Execute a diverse range of cleaning tasks with precision and care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness 
• Maintain the pristine condition of facilities and common areas, contributing to the overall ambiance of luxury and comfort 
• Diligently inspect guest rooms to ensure they meet our exacting standards for cleanliness and presentation 
• Proactively communicate any issues or concerns to management, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction 
• Handle guest complaints and requests with professionalism and grace, turning challenges into opportunities for exceptional service 
• Monitor inventory levels of essential supplies and promptly replenish as needed to ensure seamless operations 
• Strictly adhere to health and safety protocols, prioritizing the well-being of both guests and team members 

Requirements  

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner 
• Possess a keen eye for detail, leaving no corner untouched 
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance 
• Thrive in an atmosphere where customer interaction is a part of your every day 
• Ability to prioritize and use time management skills to work efficiently without compromising quality 
• Knowledge of the English language 
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, handle heavy objects, and navigate consistently between two levels for cleaning and stocking
