Overview RN - Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments in the critical care setting. As a member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for making independent clinical assessments and managing patient treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be a strong patient advocate, dedicated to continuous improvement, and committed to providing exceptional care. Responsibilities Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality. Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provide high-acuity care with a commitment to continuous improvement. Make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of acute care ICU or PCU experience. BLS certification. Preferred Qualifications BSN degree. CCRN certification. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in critical care nursing practices. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Shift Details Shift Type: Night Hours: 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Days per Week: 3 Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekends Call Requirements: Not specified. Contract Length: 13 weeks Assignment Dates: May 27, 2026 - August 26, 2026 Licensing & Certifications Active Florida RN license or compact license (must apply for FL license).
