SAP Master Data Manager

Salary: $133,000 - 158,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in information systems, business, supply chain, finance, or a closely related discipline.
• We need at least 7 years of experience in SAP master data management or data governance.
• We look for strong expertise with SAP platforms such as S/4HANA, MDG, and BTP.
• We value knowledge of data management frameworks, including DAMA-DMBOK.
• We seek project management experience, such as Agile, PMP, or an equivalent methodology.
• We expect proven success leading data quality frameworks and governance programs.
• We need strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

• We define and put in place master data governance frameworks, policies, and standards within SAP.
• We establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.
• We lead data governance councils and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• We monitor, assess, and improve data quality across customer, vendor, material, finance, and other domains.
• We develop and track KPIs and metrics tied to data quality and completeness.
• We investigate root causes and resolve data issues.
• We oversee the creation, maintenance, and retirement of SAP master data.
• We ensure compliance with data standards and naming conventions.
• We manage data workflows, approvals, and automation within SAP environments such as S/4HANA, MDG, and BTP.
• We identify opportunities to simplify and standardize data processes.
• We drive automation and digital transformation efforts connected to data management.
• We implement best practices aligned with SAP capabilities.
• We partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, and IT to align data requirements.
• We serve as a subject matter expert on SAP master data processes.
• We provide training and guidance to data stewards and end users.
• We ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit expectations.
• We support audit activities related to master data.
• We maintain documentation for processes and data governance policies.
