About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to spearhead a significant capital and endowment campaign, with a focus on driving the development of a visionary art campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all business functions on the campus, including setting the operating vision, fundraising, finance, HR, marketing, and overseeing various non-arts professional functions. This role is pivotal in the construction of the Art Car Museum and the subsequent development of an Education Center and Makers Spaces, all of which are integral to the company's mission of providing engaging experiences of visionary artists. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should be prepared to work closely with the Board, particularly the Chair and Executive Committee, to ensure the successful execution of the campus plan. The role demands a leader who can manage a diverse range of responsibilities, from setting the strategic direction for the organization to engaging with the community and different ways of being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arts management, a deep understanding of the core principles of visionary art, and a passion for fostering joy, creation, and the embrace of new ideas. Experience in capital project management, as well as a proven track record in fundraising and financial stewardship, is essential.
