Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients across all age groups within a Level III trauma center. The nurse will deliver high-quality healthcare services on a night shift schedule, contributing to the facility's mission of excellence in patient care. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure in Tennessee, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification, minimum of 1 years of relevant experience, and IV insertion skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry units, strong patient care skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: Candidates must have required certifications prior to starting. Orientation is weekly on Mondays. The unit serves all age groups and utilizes Meditech electronic health record system. Staff may be required to float to similar medical-surgical units as needed.
