Job Description
Title: Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse

Schedule: D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs

Assignment Details:
- Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- NY RN License
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Department experience
- Burn care experience highly desirable
- TNCC, ATCN, or ABLS preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide family-centered care to pediatric patients under 19 years of age.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for urgent and emergent issues.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in managing a complex case mix.
