Job Description Job Title: Slitting Machine Operator Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Starting at $18/hour for candidates with less than 1 year of experience
• Up to $25/hour for candidates with relevant experience Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Slitting Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience operating slitting, lamination, or similar converting equipment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with slitting, lamination, or similar machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
• Basic math and measurement skills including reading measuring tape
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety
