Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Environmental Services Technician on a per diem basis. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies to sanitize various areas, tools, and equipment, ensuring compliance with health department standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas including walls, ceilings, furniture, equipment, and patient care spaces.
• Handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety for patients and coworkers.
• Work under supervision, performing tasks efficiently and quietly.
• Train and rotate between multiple district facilities as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other related duties.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Housekeeping experience preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.

Requirements and Skills

• Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs, and carrying supplies. Vision, hearing, and speech should be within normal range, with or without corrective devices.
