Overview
NICU Registered Nurse (Level II NICU) – Everett, Washington. Travel assignment begins 06/29/2026 for several weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $1,764–$1,812 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. You will work in a hospital-based Level II NICU with 29 beds (neonates from 22 weeks gestation) and a typical daily census around 23; there is a 3:1 patient ratio and a floating assignment to the Family Maternity Center/Postpartum area for babies only. Four weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule are required. Orientation is provided (12 hours). This posting reflects a real travel RN opportunity managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for neonates in a Level II NICU, including stabilization and ongoing monitoring
- Manage respiratory support equipment, including conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, and high-flow devices
- Care for umbilical lines (UAC/UVC) and central lines; perform line care and safety checks
- Support gavage/oral/nasogastric feeding and monitor nutrition delivery
- Assist with ROP exams and care for conditions common in premature infants (e.g., BPD, NAS)
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization as needed; document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide education to families; participate in standard precautions and infection control
- Note: This role does not include surgeries, ostomies, or tracheostomy care

Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington or a valid Multistate License (Compact) Required
- BCLS (BLS) and NRP certifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience; travel RN experience required; charge experience preferred
- Education: RN qualification (specific degree not stated beyond licensure)
- Ability to work in a Level II NICU and float to the Family Maternity Center/Postpartum area for babies only
- Proficiency with EPIC charting; parking arranged (facility-paid)
- Must provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Provide all requested RTO at submittal; disclose any background/Nursys issues at submission
- Locals not accepted; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- NAS/NQRS and other standard neonatal care skills as outlined in the role description
