Food Runner
We are expanding and we'd love to have you join our team!
Required Qualities:
- Passion to provide exceptional guest service and attention to detail
- Personable, charming, and well spoken
- Must speak English
- Warm and welcoming to both guests and staff
- Ability to cater to guest's needs in upscale dining and casual dining format
- Able to work as a team player
- Ability to multitask; and work with a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism and high hospitality standard
- Must have good supervisory skills and able to delegate when appropriate
- Must have good communication skills and full understanding of menu
- Successfully adhere to Steps of Service
- Flexible availability (TUESDAY and SUNDAY a priority)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the management team and follow staff to execute service standards
- Perform opening and closing duties as required by the schedule.
- Extensive knowledge of the food to provide guests with a high quality dining experience.
- Assist in the opening and closing responsibilities.
- Developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests' needs efficiently.
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Curious and strong desire to learn about ingredients and preparations
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining genuine hospitality
- Passion for food, beverage, and exceptional guest experiences
- California Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within required time frame)
Compensation: Hourly ($19.18) plus tips
