Mechatronics Engineer

Job Description: + Machine & Automation Design: Lead the design and assembly of custom machinery and packaging equipment using SolidWorks. + Robotics Programming: Develop and implement robotic solutions, with a strong emphasis on FANUC and Universal Robotics platforms. + End-to-End Project Execution: Follow through on projects beyond design-ensure machines are assembled correctly, tested thoroughly, and optimized for performance. + Testing & Troubleshooting: Participate in backend testing to validate machine functionality and resolve issues. + Customer Interaction: Interface with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction. + Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines and quality standards. Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. + 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and automation. + Proficiency in SolidWorks and robotic programming (FANUC and Universal). + Demonstrated ability to take initiative and anticipate project needs. + Strong follow-through from design to build and test phases. + Prior experience in customer-facing roles is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mahwah, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $55.29/hr.
