Radiation Therapist

Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Contract Length: 15 weeks

Requirements:

• Valid license as a Radiation Therapist
• Certification in Radiologic Technology
• Experience in administering ionizing radiation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer ionizing irradiation to patients per physician prescriptions and instructions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and responses.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines related to radiation exposure.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures.
