$100,000 – $130,000 annually (based on experience) About the Company Atlantic Refrigeration / Clendaniel’s Plumbing is a growing, mid-size company headquartered in Lewes, Delaware. We’re looking for an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations, strengthen our financial controls, and support the company’s continued growth. Position Summary The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and manage a small accounting team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for month‑end close, financial statement preparation, internal controls, budgeting support, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead the ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll oversight Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls Coordinate and manage annual audits and tax filings with external auditors/CPAs Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and applicable Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Partner with the President on financial planning and business decisions Manage cash flow and banking relationships Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Atlantic Refrigeration / Clendaniel’s Plumbing is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
