Travel Physical Therapist Job

Overview Physical Therapist position in a correctional setting in Mount Olive, North Carolina. This travel - temporary assignment starts 06/01/2026 and runs for 13 contract weeks. The role offers a weekly pay range of $2,401 to $2,572 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients in a correctional setting Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including gait training, therapeutic exercise, range of motion, strengthening, balance, and functional mobility activities Monitor patient progress, reassess and adjust treatment plans, document outcomes in medical records, and communicate with supervising physical therapist Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and safety considerations Ensure patient safety and privacy, maintain infection control standards, and adhere to facility policies and documentation requirements Requirements Ability to work in a correctional setting; professional conduct and effective communication with patients and staff Eligibility for a travel physical therapy assignment Strong documentation and teamwork skills; ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks Licensure to practice physical therapy (details to be verified during the hiring process) Willingness to complete facility-required screenings and clearances as part of the assignment Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance Ongoing travel and scheduling support Pay processing assistance and direct deposit options #J-18808-Ljbffr
