Activities Aide Oak Hill Manor, Ithaca, New York Join our team at Oak Hill Manor, where we are committed to serving the community with Long Term Care & Short Term Rehabilitation. We are seeking a highly energetic and motivated Activities Aide to join our Activities Department on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and accepting climate for our residents, inspiring and motivating them to participate in various activities. Responsibilities: Work independently on units with residents, organizing and implementing activities tailored to their needs Utilize musical talent (although not necessary) to enhance resident engagement and entertainment Adapt and modify activities to meet the changing needs and abilities of residents Minimize paperwork required for job duties, allowing you to focus on what matters most - resident care Collaborate with the Director of Activities to ensure seamless service delivery Requirements: Ability to inspire and motivate others Positive attitude and energetic demeanor Willingness to work directly with residents, often independently Ability to adapt and modify activities to meet the needs of residents What We Offer: Competitive salary of $17 per hour A supportive work environment that prioritizes resident care Opportunities for professional growth and development A chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents #J-18808-Ljbffr
