Taylor Regional Hospital, a 90-bed acute care facility in Central Kentucky, is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon to join its established service line. This role offers the opportunity to provide full-spectrum orthopedic care, grow subspecialty interests like sports orthopedics, and benefit from strong OR support and minimal call burden. The hospital is PSLF-qualified and committed to community-based care. Practice Info ~ Join another orthopedic surgeon in an established practice ~ Dedicated PA with 18 years of orthopedic experience ~ Intuitive da Vinci 5 robotic system available ~ Meditech EMR ~ Orthopedic clinic located directly across from the hospital with 9 exam rooms and an average of 2–4 rooms per provider ~5 operating rooms with 4 certified first assists and full physician and CRNA anesthesia coverage Responsibilities Provide full-spectrum general orthopedic surgical care Participate in limited call coverage Perform surgeries in well-supported operating rooms with experienced staff Build and expand sports orthopedics opportunities across multiple high schools and a college Collaborate closely with an experienced orthopedic PA and rehabilitation services Compensation Base salary: $575,000 WRVU productivity bonus Paid call available Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Medical education stipend Student loan assistance PSLF-eligible employer Benefits CME time plus $7,500 annual stipend Professional dues and state licensure covered Pension plan, 403(b), and 457(b) Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Shift & Schedule Limited call coverage (10 required call days annually) Call is rarely activated (approximately 8 total hours over a 10-month period) Operating rooms close at 3:00 PM Requirements ~ H-1B and J-1 visa candidates welcome to apply
