Veterinary Student Externship Opportunity
Are you a veterinary student looking to build your clinical skills in a supportive, community-focused practice? Animal Clinic Northview is excited to offer externship opportunities for DVM students seeking hands-on experience in small animal medicine while learning alongside a dedicated veterinary team.
About the Externship
Our externship program is designed to provide veterinary students with meaningful clinical exposure in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Students will work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff while gaining experience in:
- Small animal preventive care and wellness
- General medicine and outpatient care
- Diagnostic testing and treatment planning
- Surgery and dentistry observation
- Client communication and patient education
- Collaborative case management
Externs will have opportunities to participate in daily appointments, observe procedures, engage in case discussions, and develop practical skills that support their veterinary education.
