Scrum Lead & PM for Banking/Payments Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite) Duration: Fulltime Salary: $100K / Year + Benefits Roles and Responsibilities: 10+ years' experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in payments domain. Strong knowledge of payment systems, cryptocurrencies, and banking APIs. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and manage project delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog. Ensure compliance with payments industry regulations. Plan, develop, and manage complex project requirements across multiple teams, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met. Coordinate and manage dependencies between embedded systems, firmware, hardware, and web/software teams. Own and maintain project plans, roadmaps, risk registers, and delivery milestones. Proactively identify risks and impediments; drive mitigation plans and escalate effectively when needed. Provide clear visibility into project status through structured reporting, metrics, and dashboards for senior leadership and key stakeholders. Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring effective adoption of Scrum and Agile best practices. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning if applicable). Coach teams and leaders on Agile principles, continuous improvement, and delivery discipline. Balance Agile execution with structured project governance where required. Enforce focus, accountability, and delivery commitments while fostering team ownership. Act as the primary interface between engineering teams, product management, quality, operations, and executive stakeholders. Effectively manage communication with demanding, senior-level stakeholders and technical experts. Translate high-level business goals into actionable execution plans understood by technical teams.
