Calibration Technician

Calibration TechnicianOur client, Stationary Division is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Stationary team supporting customer-focused metrology service work. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliable mechanical aptitude, and the drive to produce accurate, repeatable results that meet ISO 17025 expectations.Location: North Kingstown, RIPay Range: $22-$25Shift: 2ndWhat's the Job?Understand and support the Metrology Portable Service ISO 17025 quality systems.Perform accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of customer equipment to applicable standards.Document and report calibration results, providing certification traceable to N.I.S.T and ISO 17025 standards.Maintain company equipment in good working order, ensuring tools used are calibrated and current.Complete SMax calibration reports and assist with calibration processes, documentation, and required reporting.What's Needed?High School Diploma or equivalent.1 – 3 years of related experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience using hand tools.Experience in calibration of PCMM's and/or machine repair; understanding of SMax is required.What's in it for me?Work on meaningful, precision-focused calibration tasks that directly support customer equipment reliability.Join a team environment where you can learn from experienced Calibration Technicians and contribute to comprehensive project work.Build confidence by mastering SMax calibration reports and ISO 17025 documentation practices.Stay sharp through training classes, independent research, and seminars as needed.Work with a clear focus on quality, repeatability, and timely completion of business tasks.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
