Our leadership is not distant but right in your backyard, offering a supportive and collaborative environment.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RN Director of Nursing Services to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Nursing Services Department. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality care within approved budgets and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Key responsibilities include:Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program.Ensure adherence to all nursing policies, procedures, and manuals, updating them as needed.Coordinate nursing services with other resident services and facility staff.Foster inter-departmental communication and cooperation to address and correct issues promptly.Oversee proper resident discharge procedures and plans.Prepare reports and recommendations for the Administrator regarding department operations.Regularly meet with medical staff and assume overall responsibility for the facility in the absence of the Administrator.Leadership in department development includes:Develop organizational structures, staffing, and directions within policy and budgetary guidelines.Lead the department's personnel function, including hiring qualified staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels, and conducting annual performance evaluations.Coordinate nursing staff discipline when necessary, providing direction, guidance, and counsel.Review personnel complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent treatment in accordance with policies and applicable laws.Direct internal investigations and oversee incident reporting.We are looking for a dedicated professional who can bring leadership, expertise, and a commitment to excellence to our Nursing Services Department.
