Tooling Engineer (Direct Hire)

Job Description

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Provide technical support for product development and design
Provide input and direction in the sourcing, design, construction, PPAP, and launch of new tools, fixtures, and equipment
Estimate, schedule, and execute all engineering changes for tooling, cost savings, etc...
Establish new and superior sourcing methods for new tooling
Work with production to implement Poka-Yoke methods
Conduct annual tool audits
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have 3+ years of modeling software experience (Solidworks or equivalent)
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
