Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking an AutoCAD Manufacturing Process Engineer – Material Flow & Stamping Operations to join their team. As an AutoCAD Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering and Launch Operations team supporting Stamping Operations, Industrial Engineering, Facilities, and Production teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities , excellent communication skills , and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment , which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: AutoCAD Manufacturing Process Engineer – Material Flow & Stamping Operations Location: Sterling Heights, MI Pay Range: $46.94/hour What's the Job? Update and maintain AutoCAD layouts for manufacturing, storage, and sub-assembly areas within stamping operations. Develop and optimize lineside material layouts and storage solutions for current and future production programs. Maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) data and ensure material information is accurate and up to date. Perform material flow, storage capacity, dock utilization, and manpower analyses to support operational efficiency. Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Safety, Ergonomics, and Production teams to support launch readiness and continuous improvement initiatives. What's Needed? Strong AutoCAD experience in a manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or plant-layout environment. Understanding of stamping operations, manufacturing processes, material flow, and production support activities. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data management tools; Access experience preferred. Experience with PFEP, plant layouts, storage planning, material handling systems, or launch activities. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. What's in it for Me? Competitive pay rate of $46.94/hour .
