HR Specialist

Provides support and assistance with various human resources functions, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, Family and Medical Leave (FML), and workers’ compensation. Primary Duties: Reviews Workday reports to ensuretimely approval of time and absences, correction of exceptions, and proper justification of entries; sends bi-weekly and monthly payroll email reminders. Maintains and assigns schedulesinWorkday. Audits and enters payroll-related documents into Workday withintimeallocations for regular and supplemental payroll processing. Assistwith the recruitment and onboarding of university employees. Processes and provides employee support with benefit plans, including enrollment, changes, and terminations. Reconciles payroll benefit deductions with the TAMUS benefits administration system. Assistswith leave benefits, FML, and workers’ compensation. Assistswith verifications of employment and prior state service verifications. Serves asback upto Manager, HR Operations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
