This role conducts assessments, facilitates the development and implementation of customized center improvement plans, connects centers with relevant community resources, and delivers targeted training and support based on identified needs.What You'll Do:Provide individualized coaching, consultation, training, and support to child care centers to enhance quality and performance.Conduct assessments to identify strengths, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with centers to develop and implement customized improvement plans.Support the adoption of inclusive practices that promote positive outcomes for all children.Connect centers with community resources and services to address identified needs.Monitor progress and provide ongoing guidance, support, and follow-up.Build strong relationships with center staff, families, and community partners to promote quality improvement efforts.What you’ll bring:Three (3) years related experience in early childcare educationKnowledge of NAEYC Code of EthicsKnowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early care and educationKnowledge of effective inclusion practices for center-based environmentsKnowledge of child development during birth through age 5Possess an insured & registered vehicle and a valid AZ driver’s license.Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardDES Criminal Affidavit RequiredAZ DHS Criminal History Affidavit RequiredFPC DPS Verification RequiredWhat sets you apart:Expertise in modifying and adapting learning environments, instructional strategies, and curriculum to meet diverse child needs.Demonstrated ability in providing professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to adults with varying levels of education, experience, and skill.Experience working with families of children ages birth to five who have not yet entered kindergarten.Southwest Human Development is committed to creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for our employees and the communities we serve.
