FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform formulation of budget and cost estimates , review and evaluate budget. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for us by managers. You will track and control funds for special programs and program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems. You will work in development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices. You will interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with budget formulation and execution reviews, analyzing financial data to identify trends and support sound fiscal decision-making, developing recommendations for courses of action to improve financial management processes, providing technical helpdesk support for enterprise financial management systems, and ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, the applicant can use the following education as substitution: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Additionally, the applicant may also use a combination of education and specialized experience. (NOTE: Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9) Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
